Louise Mathias serves as Strategic Health Care’s Vice President, Federal Grant Development and Training, having previously served as a grant-writing consultant for SHC beginning in 2006. Her experience includes more than 10 years of grant writing and related project management.
Prior to her tenure with SHC, she directed all grant-seeking efforts at CLARE Foundation, Inc., a large social services agency in Los Angeles, and at KOCE Public Television.
Louise has substantial experience as a grant writer and consultant in the areas of health, mental health, substance abuse, rural health, education and affordable housing. She has successfully written grants to numerous federal agencies, including the USDA, Health Resources and Services Administration, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Education, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Adminstration for Children and Families, and others.
Louise is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the American Association of Grant Professionals. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Southern California.
