Kelly Moura joined Strategic Health Care in April of 2012. She currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Partner and Founder Paul Lee, as well as the Office Manager for the Washington, DC office.
During the past eighteen years Kelly has worked not only in Washington, DC but all across the country on numerous political campaigns that range from the local to presidential level. Her first work on a campaign was back in 1994 for the late Senator Ted Kennedy, as he battled re-election against Mitt Romney. She was also a field organizer on Congressman Richard Gephardt’s presidential campaign in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2003 and Political Director for then Senator Joe Biden’s Presidential bin in 2007.
Most recently, Kelly spent three elections cycles working in Denver Colorado. She was the Operations Director for Andrew Romanoff’s senatorial bid in 2010, the Regional Canvass Director for one of the co-ordinated 2010 election efforts and both the Political and Field Director for James Mejia’s Mayoral Campaign in 2011. In addition, she sent five years on Capitol Hill working for Senator Charles Schumer from New York and two years at another downtown Washington lobbying firm.
On a personal note, Kelly is originally from Massachusetts. She graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from American University in Washington, DC.
