In her current position at Strategic Health Care, Katie works with a wide array of health care providers, specializing in pre- and post-acute care providers, to develop managed care networks and provide managed care contracting services.
Katie has extensive experience in public policy advocacy for not-for-profit providers of senior services across the long term care continuum. Prior to joining Strategic Health Care, Katie served as Vice President of Government & Payor Relations for the largest not for profit senior affordable housing provider in the country. In that role, Katie managed national and state advocacy, negotiations, and collaborations with payors related to affordable senior housing, pre- and post-acute health care, and permanent supportive housing for the homeless. Previously, Katie was a Staff Attorney and Equal Justice Works Fellow at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus, representing individual and family clients specializing in health care services.
Katie has served on the board of Ohio Aging Services Network, Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio, LeadingAge Public Policy Congress, LeadingAge Ohio Advocacy Committee.
Katie graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University and received her law degree from The Ohio State University, where she was a Public Service Fellow for over 50 hours of public service.
