Joanne Gianndrea served as Vice President of Military Affairs at Lourdes Health System. She was responsible for developing the partnership between Lourdes and Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst (JBMDL) in NJ. She designed and implemented the Military Concierge Care Program, Patient Service Center and Physician Network supporting the medical needs of active duty, dependents, retirees and veterans from JBMDL resulting in high quality expedited care for these patients. Other programs developed under her direction include the After Hours Family Practice Clinic at the 87th Medical Group, recognized and benchmarked throughout the medical community in the Department of Defense. She successfully negotiated staffing agreements to support the 87th Medical Group as well as West Point. She also created Living Springs at Lourdes a military only inpatient behavioral health unit and designed and opened an Outpatient testing facility strategically located to improve access to care for veterans and the military population. Joanne successfully negotiated many contracts such as TRICARE, preferred provider status for the VA Patient Center Community Care Program (PC3) as well as other contracts serving reservists for the Army, Air Force and Air National Guard.
In addition to her experience working as the VP of Military Affairs, she has extensive experience as Vice President of Operations as well as Laboratory Administration. She holds a BS degree in Laboratory Medicine for the University of Dayton, Dayton Ohio and MS in Hospital Administration from St Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, Pa. She has served as an Honorary Commander for the United States Air Force for the past 6 years and currently is assigned to 108 Wing Commander at JBMDL.
